We would like to understand current state-of-the-art related to packaging of baked foods. This would help us strategize our technology development initiatives

• A team of Food technologists and packaging engineers at SciTech Patent Art were assigned the job. The team conducted a landscape search pertaining to packaging techniques for baked food products with special focus on currently available products, published papers and patents in this area. SPA implemented following steps –
• Carried out comprehensive patent searches using multiple patent databases, and categorized the relevant patents into various meaningful technology categories like package type and packaging material.
• Conducted searches for published papers and products using SPA’s Deep Web search technique
• The team analyzed the findings from the above searches and presented a technology trends report based on current packaging techniques for baked food products, emerging players in this space, types of packaging and packaging materials.
